Hayden began playing Music when he was in Preschool. Music runs multi-generationally in his family; His dad is a Piano & Drum teacher who teaches out of our Sugar Land branch. Hayden's grandad also taught piano! On Hayden's mom's side, his grandmother was a well known opera singer.
As a child, he was drawn towards a wide range of instruments, and was always playing either the Piano, Guitar, or Drumset. He attended Houston's High School for The Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) as a Jazz Drummer, and qualified for programs through The Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz and the Dave Brubeck Institute Summer Jazz Colony. From there, he earned a full Presidential Scholarship to Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) where he graduated with a degree in music business. During his educational experience, he was exposed to nearly a decade of intensive music study.
Today, Hayden continues his life in Music as an Organ/Rhodes/Piano Composer + Jazz Drummer, and has developed a passion for teaching kids the magic of music.
He specializes in Beginner and Intermediate skill levels, and has a deep network of specialty instructors for when his students reach the advanced stage. He Founded Rice Village Piano school in 2025 and hopes to see it grow musical talents in countless students, and expand to cover all instruments and genres.
